SNEAK PREVIEW: THE VANS ‘VAN DOREN’ ERA & AUTHENTIC SPRING 2013
Vans have become uber popular in the past few years. Known best for a trendy but simple silhouette, the brand continues their reign with the Van Doren collection for Spring 2013.
A series of leopard, aloha and stars & stripes patterns are highlights on the Authentic, while mixed solid and pattern Eras round out the drop. All of them give off a classic feel that requires little effort to perfect any outfit.

WILLOW SMITH GOES BLONDE
She is quite possibly the most stylish 11 year-old in the business! After just recently debuting her chopped off locks, the young fashion plate and Roc Nation signee Willow Smith has now gone blonde!
She tweeted out these photos to her fans recently.
How could you not love her?
Rock on, Willow!

Kanye West: THE NIKE AIR YEEZY 2 (BLACK AND PINK)

Kanye West has had the sneaker world on edge since the release of his first collaboration with Nike, the Nike Air Yeezy.

The first colorways were released in 2009, and since then the speculation has been high about a second coming. So far we've got nothing, until last month when clips of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Zen Grey Colorway (below) hit the net, sending sneaker heads into a frenzy. Now Kanye's best friend Don Chas shared images of the black and pink colorway (above) via his Tumblr.

They are rumored to arrive early next year, but I'm beginning to feel like they are calling "wolf" again. Hey, can we get an actual release date? If I'm going to stand outside for 24 hours (and I will) I need to prep my talents early.

5 FEMALE CELEBS WHO WOULD MAKE GREAT MODELS

You ever see an artist and say to yourself, "She could definitely be a model!'"
I say it all the time and you know, I'm all about multiple streams of income. Being an artist in this time an age is no longer about your vocal abilities. Nowadays, it's all about a host of other elements: beauty, style, choreography, performance. They all combine to the make an amazing artist.
And for some, beauty is their main ticket.
Here's a list of ladies whose modeling careers can kick in to full time gigs if their first well ever dries up.

5. Rihanna
Although she's already attained rock star status, the girl knows how to take an amazing picture! She's easy on the eyes, too. The first time I met her I was literally paralyzed for three seconds. I looked like a bumbling idiot, but quickly snapped out of it.
Whenever she's ready, the modeling world will gladly accept her application.

4.Ciara
Let's face it, this well is almost dry. I mean...if all else fails (and she needs to act quickly!), Ciara can definitely take those talents to the nearest cover of Smooth. Dress her up and she'd rock any high-fashion cover. She's so versatile. CiCi, this might not be a bad idea.

3. Kim Kardashian
Lord knows Kim Kardashian doesn't have a title as is. Is she an actress? A model? A socialite? *Sighs*
She's definitely the biggest reality star around, and if that job ever gives her a pink slip--like most of her men seem to do--she can always take a job in front of the camera. She's absolutely gorgeous.

Amber might be the biggest no-brainer on this countdown. I'd just like Amber not to ever talk again, and just take pictures. If she could walk around with cue cards expressing her feelings and just flash them when she needs to communicate, life would be so meaningful.
I don't even care what kind of pictures, turn yourself into a picture dictionary, and my life would be complete.

Cassie seems to be the only one who gets the memo, as she's been showing up all over the place in ad campaigns and fashion spreads.
*High Five*
She's absolutely beautiful and was actually a full-time model before she started *ahem* singing. Back to Option B, please!

NICKI MINAJ AT VERSACE FOR H&M

Nicki Minaj attended the Versace for H&M Fashion event at the H&M on the Hudson last night in New York City.
In true colorful Nicki manner, she hit the carpet in an array of colors repping the color scheme of the entire line.
She went GREEN.

I actually love it, even the green hair. It fits the Versace mold, matches that background and although it appears over the top, it's really not.

Those shoes were everything, though.
Nicki later took to the stage performing hits from her Pink Friday album, including "Super Bass" and "Roman's Revenge."
Did I mention pop icon Prince was also on the bill?
What are your thoughts? Swag it or drop it?

2011 Fall Collection Lookbook : Stussy

Offered up is a look into the upcoming Fall 2011 season from classic street label Stussy. As comprehensive as ever, the line expands quite well from the smaller summer selection as we see the introduction of outerwear, knits and button-downs, along with the other traditional Stussy staples, including headwear, accessories, denim and everything in between. Look for Fall 2011 through Stussy stockists soon, including Slam Jam.

SPECIAL FILM FEATURE: JIMMY CHOO [Mr. PORTER]
As iconic London-based shoe brand Jimmy Choo has recently expanded their line of footwear to include a collection of lux men’s offerings, it makes sense that the company would partner with MR PORTER – another successful male-oriented spinoff of a fashion-forward brand. The two have produced a lovely video showcase of the latest Jimmy Choo men’s shoes, modeled by a set of stylish feet strutting alongside Manhattan’s Highline Park which stretches from the Meatpacking District up through Chelsea. Set to an upbeat, jazzy score, the short film’s real stars are (of course) the shoes. From brown suede oxfords to buckled sneakers in dark snakeskin, beige leather low-tops and a sleek pair of black double-strapped derbies, Jimmy Choo’s debut men’s collection is surely impressive. Certain to be expensive, all of the kicks are handmade in Italy and will be available soon at MR PORTER.

THE SWAG BIRD STORE™ "Swag of the Week" - Heidi Gaudet

Let's face it, in NYC, "Swag Week" is every week. Birds strut harder on the sidewalks than they do on the catwalks, and Heidi's here to prove it. She's a cute rocker from Las Vegas who looks like a Marc Jacobs muse with a splash of sass. Her American flag sweater is a Wal-Mart pick-up (high-fashion, what?) that stood out last weekend when simply paired with thigh-high leg warmers and heels. She's in a band called Food Stamps, and hell if she saves enough of 'em she can look cute for weeks in Wal-Mart gear! Because when you look this good, it's not about brands, it's about how high you FLY.

TREND SPOTTING: 24 INCH PLATFORMS

The ladies have their work cut out for them if this trend keeps up.
Lady Gaga hit the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Aid Japan in studded two-foot-tall platform boots.

Adding insult to possible foot injury, Gaga kept her eyes closed to reveal her animé-painted lids the majority of the time. Following her lead might be a little dangerous.
It's not the first time Gaga has added a little height to her physique.

Recently, while being honored at the CFDA Awards for being a style icon, the extreme fashionista rocked a pair of foot-high platforms and an aqua wig to accompany her Thierry Mugler evening gown.

These elevated accessories have become a way of life for Gaga. Will they hit your closet soon?
