The Taxman is looking for Rapper Nas

Hip hop star Nas might have caught a break in his monthly payments to Kelis, but the IRS is in need of their cut. The feds just hit the legendary rapper with a new tax lien, and now Nas’ bill is past $6.46 million, according to public records.

In fact his condo association is labeling him a deadbeat because he owes $3,860 in common charges. This is according to alien filed against him last fall by the condo managers. They claim Nas hasn’t paid the $420 monthly assessment since January 2010.

According to The Tax Watchdog:

The IRS filed a $514,298 lien Jan. 10 with the New York City Register of Deeds.
The IRS filed a $3,365,671lien Feb. 3, 2010, in New York.
The IRS filed a $2,584,236 lien Oct. 16, 2009, in New York.

Man I need Nas to come out with another album quick. I can see why the judge took 25K away a month from Kelis. This man needs it more then her. In fact maybe she should give him some support to he gets back on his feet.

FABOLOUS LOVING HIS SON AND TALKS ABOUT REJECTION FROM HIS FATHER.

There's a song called "Stay" on Fabolous' album Loso's Way that gave him a platform to publicly inquire how a father could deny his son. It's a feeling of personal reflection the rapper had when he had his son Johan Jackson prior to creating the song. In a recent interview, Loso dove deeper into why having his son means so much to him and how he changed his career goals.



I had just had a son prior to doing the record and it made me reflect on my father being absent in my life. It just related to me about how I felt about my son and it was kind of a weird moment for me because if I felt like this about my son, why didn't my father feel like this about me?

Things are different, too— different times, and different generations, and it's a different relationship, too. His relationship with my mom might have been different than my relationship with my child's mother. It was something that came naturally together for me, so it was something I definitely wanted to talk about and I felt like people related to it going through the same thing.
